Temporary Assignment – Regulatory Compliance Specialist

• Contribute to regulatory compliance advisory engagements for banks, insurers, asset managers and other financial intermediaries across Western Switzerland, with a focus on AML requirements.
• Deliver KYC and client remediation workstreams, including analysis, documentation review, issue identification and clear recommendations.
• Support clients in interpreting and implementing regulatory requirements and strengthening frameworks designed to prevent regulatory breaches, fraud and other unlawful or unethical conduct.
• Perform compliance and AML-related prudential audit procedures, assess the design and effectiveness of controls, and prepare concise audit documentation and reports.
• Manage assigned workstreams with increasing autonomy, coordinate directly with client stakeholders and communicate progress, risks and findings to the engagement team.
• Depending on experience, review selected deliverables, support and coach junior colleagues, and contribute to proposals, methodology development and internal knowledge-sharing.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in law, finance, economics, business administration or a related discipline (HEC, HEG or equivalent).
• Initial professional experience through to approximately four or five years in compliance, regulatory advisory, banking or financial services consulting, or in an internal/external audit, regulatory or compliance function.
• Ideally, practical exposure to the Swiss banking or financial services sector, whether gained in a bank, another financial institution or a consulting firm.
• Good understanding of Swiss banking regulation, particularly AML and KYC requirements; more experienced candidates should be able to apply this knowledge independently in client situations.
• Fluent French and English, with a minimum C1 level in both languages; German is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, drafting and communication skills, combined with a client-focused mindset and commitment to high-quality delivery.
• Collaborative and proactive approach, with the ability to manage priorities and deliver reliably in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
• Residence in Switzerland is required for regulatory reasons.
